Cyprus is developing its status as a golf destination. There are now three 18-hole championship golf courses within 20-30 minutes drive from Paphos. They are all different and enjoy a variety of challenging holes and beautiful views.
They offer practice facilities, golf clinics and individual lessons.
Minthis Hills (formerly Tsada)Created by Donald Steel in 1994, set in the grounds of a 12th Century monastery, some 550 metres above sea level. 18 holes, designed in two loops of nine, 6208m, par 72. |
Secret Valley18km east of Paphos, Secret Valley has a clubhouse in a traditional Cypriot style with locker rooms, a bar, pro shop and golf academy. 18 holes, 6120m, par 72. |
Aphrodite HillsSituated near the Petra Tou Romiou, "Aphrodite's Birth Place", the course is over two plateaux, amongst carob and olive trees, 300 metres above sea level. The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant with terraces and a Pro shop. 18 holes, 6665m approx, par 71. |
