There are two international airports for getting to Paphos:
- Paphos, which is about 15-20 minutes from the apartments by car/taxi and
- Larnaca, at the Eastern end of the island, 140 Km away.
The time taken to get from Larnaca depends on the time of day and the traffic. The road is good and dual carriageway but there can be delays around Limassol during rush times. Allow a minimum of 1.5 hours (100 kmph speed limit on motorway).
The airports are serviced by number of airlines, both scheduled and charter. Some only fly in summer.
Do not assume that it is always cheaper the earlier you book. If you try to book more
than one 'season' ahead the airlines may not have worked out their price structures. Unfortunately, it's just a matter
of getting exactly the right time!
Additionally, the airlines sometimes do not keep their web sites up-to-date so agencies may be able to find different schedules and prices.
It is often cheaper to purchase tickets direct or via the internet. Try a
mix of travel agencies and direct ticket purchase either by phone or on line.
There are flights from all the major and many regional airports to Cyprus. Charters often
have less leg room or service but your choice may depend on availability, accessibility and price.![]()

If you cannot get a direct flight you might find it easier to fly via Britain, Amsterdam or Prague. There are numerous flights from Manchester and the London Airports - some daily. There are more direct flights in the summer season.
